Elias, a 14-year-old boy, was tragically murdered in Paris at the end of January after leaving football practice, allegedly by two teenagers aged 16 and 17 who wanted to steal his phone. His mother, Stéphanie, shared the details during an interview on BFMTV/RMC, recounting how she received a call from Elias’s best friend informing her of the attack. Despite the efforts of emergency services, Elias did not survive. Stéphanie condemned the actions of his attackers as « barbaric, » emphasizing that their lack of remorse highlights a societal issue that needs addressing, criticizing the justice system for not adequately supporting victims.
