Recently, several associations, including Alternative Fouesnantaise and Attac, planned a major gathering against the rise of the far right and the Bolloré empire. Initially set for Fouesnant, they had to relocate to Guiscriff due to municipal refusal over public order concerns. During the gathering on May 24-25, a maritime protest was also aimed for the island of Loc’h, prohibiting prior declaration led to a ban from the maritime prefect.
