Un décès et deux pompiers blessés suite à un effondrement sur un terrain d’escalade dans le Maine-et-Loire.

A tragic rock climbing incident occurred in Maine-et-Loire on Friday, resulting in the death of a climber and injuries to two firefighters. Around 12:30 PM, while a group was climbing at Roche du Manis, a piton detached, causing one climber to fall onto another below. Firefighters found individuals in a precarious situation, and during their rescue attempts, a second rockfall occurred, injuring a firefighter and a young man severely. The climber later succumbed to his injuries. An investigation into possible involuntary manslaughter has been initiated, while a psychological support unit has been established.
