Thomas Marre, a hiker missing since the Ascension weekend after embarking on a solo trek in Andorra on June 1, was found safe on June 7 by local police. Initially set to hike with friends, he went alone and failed to check in, prompting his girlfriend to alert his parents. His father reported him missing, and a search was launched, including a call for witnesses on Facebook. Thomas faced several mishaps, including a broken phone and a car breakdown. Eventually, police located him after a phone SIM activation. His family is relieved and grateful for his safe return.
