Cooperation Agreement Signed to Enhance National Solidarity through Research
On Monday in Algiers, a cooperation agreement was signed between the Ministry of National Solidarity, Family, and Women’s Affairs and the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research. This collaboration aims to leverage scientific research outcomes to enhance national solidarity efforts.
The agreement was signed by Soraya Mouloudji, the Minister of National Solidarity, Family, and Women’s Affairs, and Kamel Baddari, the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research. Mouloudji emphasized that the accord represents the commitment of Algerian universities and research centers to engage actively in societal enhancement through the appreciation of studies and research pertinent to the Ministry’s missions.
She remarked, "Activating cooperation channels with scientific centers and research will contribute to improving the quality of life and enable social development by instituting relevant and sustainable programs to achieve the sector’s primary goals."
During the signing ceremony, Mouloudji unveiled the establishment of a permanent sectoral committee for scientific research and technological development within her ministry. This committee will focus on strengthening research and technological advancement in collaboration with the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research.
Baddari stressed that the agreement aims to harness scientific research outcomes to benefit the national solidarity sector and society at large. He affirmed his ministry’s support for fostering economic and social micro-enterprises within this domain.
