Summary of the Signing of Memoranda in Nouakchott
On Wednesday, over 40 memoranda of understanding were signed in Nouakchott, Mauritania, between Algerian and Mauritanian business operators. This initiative aims to enhance the presence of Algerian products in the Mauritanian market. The signing ceremony occurred alongside the 7th edition of the Algerian Products Fair (May 22-28), organized by the Ministry of Foreign Trade and Export Promotion, and was attended by Algeria’s ambassador to Mauritania, Amine Sid, as well as representatives from Mauritania’s Ministries of Commerce and Foreign Affairs.
The signed agreements involve 43 public and private Algerian companies whose products will be exported and marketed in Mauritania. Additionally, cooperation agreements were established between various Algerian and Mauritanian organizations focused on trade, exportation, and development.
