Support for Algerian Olympic Gymnast Kaylia Nemour

In a recent meeting at the Ministry of Sports in Algeria, Minister Walid Sadi praised Olympic champion Kaylia Nemour for her outstanding achievements in gymnastics. He emphasized the importance of her continued dedication to her sport, encouraging her to maintain her high level of performance.

During this significant audience, Sadi acknowledged Nemour’s remarkable journey, highlighting her determination and discipline, which have enabled her to perform exceptionally well on the international stage. He noted that her efforts not only bring glory to her but also honor the nation’s colors in major competitions.

The minister reinforced the government’s commitment to nurturing and supporting national sports talents. He instructed ministry staff to provide all the necessary material and logistical assistance to ensure that Nemour and her technical team receive optimal preparation for upcoming international competitions. This support aims to bolster Algeria’s chances of victory and affirm its excellence in global sports.

The meeting also reaffirmed the Ministry of Sports’ dedication to supporting elite athletes and creating favorable conditions for them to excel. Accompanying Nemour during the meeting were her coach Nadia Massi, Dahbia Ayad, president of the Algerian Gymnastics Federation, and national coach Saâd-Eddine Hamici. Their presence underscored a collaborative effort to support Nemour’s training.

The day before this meeting, Nemour visited the president of the Algerian Olympic and Sports Committee, Abderrahmane Hammad, who reiterated the committee’s support for her as she prepares for her upcoming Olympic ambitions, particularly for the 2028 Los Angeles Games.

Nemour expressed her gratitude for the excellent training conditions provided in Algeria, which she believes contribute significantly to her preparedness for future competitions. This sentiment reflects the broader dedication of Algeria’s sports community to nurture talent and achieve international success.
