Sonatrach Partners with FAF for Football Sponsorship
On Sunday in Algiers, the Algerian public company, Sonatrach, entered into a sponsorship agreement with the Algerian Football Federation (FAF) to fund its activities and national teams for the years 2025, 2026, and 2027. The agreement was signed by Rachid Hachichi, Sonatrach’s CEO, and Walid Sadi, the FAF president, at a ceremony held at Sonatrach’s headquarters.
In his speech, Hachichi emphasized that renewing this partnership reflects Sonatrach’s ongoing commitment to supporting Algerian sports, particularly football, which is the country’s most popular sport and serves as a unifying force for Algerians both domestically and abroad.
