Mostaganem : arrivée d’un navire chargé d'ovins importés d’Espagne
Summary of Recent Sheep Shipment in Mostaganem
Mostaganem – A cargo ship carrying 8,898 sheep from Spain docked on Saturday at the commercial port of Mostaganem, as announced by the local governmental services. This marks the third shipment under the directives of President Abdelmadjid Tebboune, aimed at ensuring the availability of sacrificial sheep and maintaining national market stability as the Aïd El-Adha holiday approaches.
Upon the ship’s arrival, relevant authorities collaborated with veterinary and inspection teams to commence unloading and health inspections. The shipment passed all health and veterinary standards, confirming the safety and quality of the livestock before being directed to planned distribution channels.
Previously, Mostaganem received two additional shipments: the first on May 7, with 7,800 sheep, and the second on May 16, containing 6,750 sheep, all sourced from Spain.
