Ghashghavi expressed pride in the strong ties his country shares with Algeria, commending Algeria’s process of renewal and change. He reiterated Iran’s commitment to promoting and strengthening bilateral relations to reach a level befitting the capabilities of both nations and their roles on regional and international stages.
Additionally, both parties addressed current international, regional, and Islamic developments, including the Palestinian cause. Ghashghavi lauded Algeria’s unwavering position in international forums supporting nations striving for their land. On matters concerning the Sahrawi question, he affirmed that Iran’s stance aligns with Algeria’s, adhering to UN resolutions.
