le wali d’Alger inaugure plusieurs infrastructures
Summary of Inauguration of Summer Season 2025 in Algiers
On Sunday, Mohamed Abdenour Rabehi, the wali (governor) of Algiers, inaugurated several new facilities as part of the opening of the 2025 summer season in the capital. This event was detailed in a statement from the services of the Wilaya of Algiers.
The highlight of the event was the opening of the Bounetta Terrace, located in central Algiers, which overlooks the waterfront. This project is part of a broader "blue plan" aimed at the strategic development and modernization of the city.
At El Kadous beach in H’raoua, Rabehi attended a presentation regarding the missions assigned to public agencies during the summer season. He also inspected the El Kadous youth camp, which has been revamped to enhance the quality of services offered.
Additionally, Rabehi reviewed the summer program for activities planned in Algiers, prepared by the Directorate of Youth, Sports, and Leisure. This included discussions on forest space development and a fire prevention plan, as noted in the communiqué.
In Aïn Taya, he inaugurated a youth center named after the late moudjahid (freedom fighter) Yousfi Khalil, which includes 120 beds.
It’s important to note that the official launch of the 2025 summer season was initiated on Saturday at Rizzi-Amor beach in Annaba by the Minister of Interior, Local Authorities, and Regional Planning, Brahim Merad. He was accompanied by several officials, including the Minister of Tourism and Handicrafts, Houria Meddahi, and the Minister of Water Resources, Taha Derbal, among others.
Overall, these inaugurations reflect a commitment to improving recreational facilities and enhancing the quality of services available to citizens and visitors during the summer season, aligning with the strategic goals of urban development in Algiers.
