l’hôpital Salim-Zemirli se dote de nouveaux équipements modernes et d’un bloc pédagogique
On Monday, the Salim-Zemirli Hospital in El-Harrach, Algeria, was equipped with advanced modern technologies, including MRI and CT scan machines, along with the inauguration of a new educational block. This development was presided over by Health Minister Abdelhak Saihi.
In his remarks to the press after the inauguration, Minister Saihi emphasized the government’s commitment to enhancing citizens’ health services, aligning with the directives of President Abdelmadjid Tebboune. The newly opened educational block aims to elevate the quality of medical training and education for medical students and residents. It is designed to strengthen the connection between theoretical knowledge and practical application, while also supporting scientific research through hosting scientific conferences and specialized seminars. This initiative is expected to bolster medical expertise and facilitate international and local knowledge exchange.
The modern imaging equipment introduced is set to enhance health care services and improve diagnostic capabilities at this specialized hospital. Minister Saihi highlighted that the Salim-Zemirli Hospital, inaugurated in 1988, originally focused on emergency care but has since expanded its specialties. He mentioned future projects aimed at advancing research and training to further refine healthcare services at the facility.
Additionally, Saihi announced the imminent opening of several new health facilities in Algeria, which will alleviate the patient load at Salim-Zemirli Hospital. These include hospitals in Baraki, Khemis El Khechna, and Boudouaou, each with a capacity of 120 beds, as well as larger hospitals in Réghaïa (180 beds) and Boumerdès (240 beds).
This strategic expansion reflects the government’s commitment to improving healthcare infrastructure and providing better health outcomes for the population.
