Les lauréats du Prix « Ali-Maâchi » du président de la République pour les jeunes créateurs couronnés

On June 8, 2025, the winners of the « Ali-Maâchi » Prize, established by presidential decree in 2006, were honored at the International Conference Center « Abdelatif-Rahal » in Algiers. This award, aimed at young creators under 35, celebrates achievements across various literary and artistic fields.

The ceremony, presided over by Prime Minister Nadir Larbaoui, highlighted outstanding contributions in categories such as novels, poetry, dramatic writing, music, lyrical arts, dance, and audiovisual arts.

### Key Winners by Category:

#### Novels
Sami Chaânane garnered first place for his novel « Banat Es’Stah » (The Girls of the Terrace), while Meriem Raja Mahi and Khaoula Houasnia took second and third places, respectively.

#### Poetry
In poetry, Mohamed Slim Meddaoui claimed the top position with « Qad Yanbaghi Laho » (Perhaps It Should), followed by Akli Aït Bousaad and Fatma Zohra Boudène.

#### Dramatic Writing
Abdelwahab Ramdani received the first prize for his play « El Oughniya El Akhira » (The Last Song), with Asmaa Ben Ahmed and Messaoud Atma taking the next two spots.

#### Musical Works
In the music category, Mohamed Ramzi Ben Harrath’s « Alam wa Amal » (Pain and Hope) won first place, followed by Ahmed Rami Hassenat and Imad Abdelaziz Fellah.

#### Lyrical Arts and Dance
Ryan Boukari was recognized for his work « En’Nadhra El Oula » (The First Look), while Abdelbari Kroum and Imane Mami placed second and third.

#### Cinematic and Audiovisual Arts
Ahmed Ben Moumen excelled in the audiovisual arts category with « Amwadj Es’Samt » (Waves of Silence), with Azzeddine Sofiane Ben Youssef and Charafeddine Ferhat Hadjadj following him.

#### Dramatic Arts
Fakhreddine Lounis was awarded for his dramatic piece « Cassette, » with Aymane Abdelhamid Fitass and Chahinaz Derbal receiving recognition as well.

#### Plastic Arts
Billal Cherit won first place in plastic arts with « Min Ajli Irthin Jadid » (For a New Heritage), followed by Walid Khelkhal and Mohamed Azzelarabe Ben Elmouaz.

#### New Category: Short Stories
A new category for short stories saw Abbas Abderrazak win for « Chems fi Aïn Edhabab » (Sun in the Eye of the Mist), with Abderrahim Belghenami and Nabil Bendahou taking the following spots.

### Jury Insights
The jury president, Saïd Benzerga, noted that this year’s edition drew participants from fifty-five wilayas, including contributions from the Algerian diaspora. He emphasized that this edition showcased remarkable creative talents and new artistic directions.

Every year, this prestigious award is presented on the National Artist Day, further encouraging the artistic community’s growth and recognition. The ceremony not only celebrates individual achievements but also reinforces cultural pride and innovation among Algeria’s youth.
