During his visit to a local startup specializing in tech solutions, Ouadah spoke to the press about the government’s commitment to enhancing the role of startups in both national and international markets. He praised the startup’s success in exporting digital services to various Arab countries and highlighted ongoing efforts to support innovative companies in gaining market footholds.

A significant announcement was made about the establishment of a local innovation center in Mostaganem. This center aims to host multiple innovative startups, focusing on improving their market presence, particularly through technological service exports. Ouadah also visited startups in diverse sectors, including cosmetics, traditional products, health, and medical supplies, recognizing these initiatives’ importance in bolstering the healthcare sector.

Additionally, the minister inspected initiatives that foster entrepreneurial innovation in academic settings. Visits to the startup incubator and the entrepreneurship development center at the University of Abdelhamid Ibn Badis, along with the center at the National Institute for Vocational Training, highlighted the ministry’s collaborative efforts to enhance entrepreneurial support structures.

The ministry is also addressing the need for suitable facilities for micro-enterprises and startups, working alongside the Ministry of Industry to resolve logistical challenges through structures established across various regions.

Finally, Ouadah toured several units of the GSP Electric industrial complex, which specializes in electrical manufacturing, particularly those contributing to green economics, integrated renewable energy solutions, and smart city initiatives. This reflects a growing focus on sustainable and innovative practices within the industrial sector.
