Summary of the Tactical Exercise "El Hisn El Manie 2025"
On May 22, 2025, General Saïd Chanegriha, the Deputy Minister of Defense and Chief of Staff of the Algerian National People’s Army (ANP), oversaw a live-fire tactical exercise entitled "El Hisn El Manie 2025" during his visit to the 3rd Military Region. This exercise is part of the combat preparation programs scheduled for the 2024-2025 period.
Accompanied by Major General Nacerddine Fodhil, General Chanegriha began the day with a briefing from the exercise’s Director. This presentation covered the overall concept, execution phases, and expected objectives of the exercise. Following the briefing, he observed combat actions carried out by various units at the shooting and maneuvering fields in the Southern Operational Sector of Tindouf. These activities showcased a high level of professionalism and tactical proficiency, reflecting the operational capabilities of all levels of staff and command.
The exercise was characterized by remarkable coordination among the participating units, demonstrating their high skill levels in conducting combat actions.
