Sortie d’une nouvelle promotion du Centre de formation des troupes spéciales de Biskra
BISKRA – New Promotion Ceremony at the Special Troops Training Center
On a recent Monday, the Special Troops Training Center (CFTS) "Martyr Mohamed-Saïd Benchaïb" in Biskra, part of the 4th Military Region, celebrated the graduation of a new promotion. The event was presided over by General Kamel Hadji, commander of the Superior School of Special Troops (ESTS).
During the ceremony, General Hadji reviewed the graduating trainees and led the swearing-in ceremony, where he also oversaw the awarding of ranks and the traditional flag exchange. In a moment of honor, he approved the naming of this promotion after Martyr Mansouri Bourenane, highlighting a connection to Algeria’s rich history of valor.
General Hadji also conducted an inspection of the center’s facilities, focusing on their educational, military, cultural, and sports activities that have been integral to the trainees’ experiences since starting their training in February 2025. This inspection underscored the comprehensive nature of the education being offered.
Lieutenant Colonel Tarek Bouziane, the CFTS commander, delivered a speech emphasizing that the graduates had received integrated scientific and military training—blending theoretical concepts with practical applications. He stressed that this dual approach allows graduates to join the professional world "with confidence and competence," thanks to modern training programs that keep pace with technological advancements and the dedicated efforts of the center’s instructors, who delivered their duties with sincerity and loyalty.
The graduation ceremony featured impressive collective and individual exhibitions showcasing the trainees’ skills in weapon handling, martial arts, and close combat. This display demonstrated their high level of training, particularly through simulations of enemy position assaults executed with precision and professionalism.
To conclude the ceremony, the family of Martyr Mansouri Bourenane (1939-1961) was honored in the center’s honor salon, paying tribute to his legacy and sacrifice.
This event marked not just a transition for the new graduates but also reiterated the ongoing commitment of the CFTS to foster the next generation of skilled military personnel ready to serve their country.
