Celebrating Eid El-Fitr in Mascara: A Special Visit by the Minister of National Solidarity
On Monday, in Mascara, the Minister of National Solidarity, Family, and Women’s Affairs, Soraya Mouloudji, took part in the joyous celebration of Eid El-Fitr with children and elderly individuals, marking the end of Ramadan with heartfelt festivities.
The minister attended a special ceremony at the "El Amel" orphanage in Tighennif, where she shared in the Eid celebrations with the children residing there. Following this, she visited the Khessibia nursing home, bringing the spirit of the holiday to the elderly residents. Her day also included a stop at the public facility specializing in maternal and child health, "Belbouri Rahma," located in the provincial capital of the wilaya.
The celebrations featured diverse artistic and cultural activities, including traditional folklore performances by the "Aïssaoua" troupe from Mascara and captivating acrobatic shows. These activities were designed to create a vibrant atmosphere of joy and community spirit.
As part of her visit, Minister Mouloudji took the opportunity to present gifts to the children at the "El Amel" orphanage and the elderly residents at the Khessibia nursing home. In her address to the media, she emphasized the purpose of her visit was to share the joy of the Eid holiday with the parents and children who benefit from social assistance in the various establishments under her ministry in the Mascara area.
