On Saturday, at the Ministry of Relations with the Parliament in Algeria, Minister Kaouter Krikou welcomed a delegation from the Central American Parliament (Parlacen), led by its Vice President for Honduras, Licona Reyes Nedis Adrian. The meeting focused on enhancing institutional cooperation between Algeria and Parlacen, drawing on Algeria’s experience in coordinating between executive and legislative powers.
Krikou emphasized that the discussions aimed to share expertise in parliamentary processes and strengthen collaboration between the two entities. Notably, she introduced the digital platform "Tadjawob," which highlights key decisions made by President Abdelmadjid Tebboune in response to citizens’ concerns.
Licona Reyes expressed interest in leveraging Algeria’s parliamentarian experiences and invited Krikou and representatives from the Algerian National Assembly (APN) to visit Parlacen. This meeting is part of Algeria’s broader initiative to expand parliamentary cooperation with regional and international parliamentary institutions.
In attendance were various high-ranking officials, including APN Vice President Monder Bouden and Mohamed Khouane, head of the Commission for Foreign Affairs, Cooperation, and National Community Abroad.
The engagement reflects a commitment to strengthening diplomatic and legislative ties, opening pathways for knowledge exchange and collaboration that could benefit both parties.
