Date:

Jean-Marc Morandini, a prominent TV figure, has been handed a two-year suspended prison sentence for corruption of minors related to incidents involving three adolescents between 2009 and 2016. This verdict, delivered during an appeal, increased his previous one-year suspended sentence. Additionally, he was fined €20,000 and banned from working with minors, with his name placed on a sexual offenders registry. Morandini faces scrutiny for sending sexual messages to minors and previously encouraging young actors to undress during auditions. Following the ruling, he expressed his intention to appeal to the highest court. Advocates are calling for his removal from television.
