A Toulouse, a kidnapping case is unfolding involving eleven defendants set to be tried for abduction and torture linked to drug trafficking. The first victim was abducted in May 2022, forced into a vehicle at gunpoint, and held in Spain, suffering severe violence before his release. Subsequently, one of his friends was also kidnapped and injured but managed to escape during the drive. This kidnapping was reportedly motivated by suspicions of involvement in a drug theft. The ringleader is evading arrest abroad, while two other suspects remain at large. Six defendants are in custody, with previous convictions.
