"Dahbia" was awarded the gold medal, while "Chibi" received the silver medal, according to official results published on the competition’s website.
Dahbia Olive Oil

Its consistent success highlights the brand’s commitment to producing high-quality extra virgin olive oil that meets rigorous international standards.
Chibi Olive Oil
"Chibi," on the other hand, has a rich history dating back to 1920 and is crafted in Tirmitine, Tizi Ouzou, by a family-run enterprise. Apart from its recent accolade, "Chibi" has also been recognized in other international competitions, including noteworthy awards in Germany and the United Kingdom, underscoring its global reach and quality.
About the EVO IOOC
The EVO IOOC is one of the most esteemed competitions in the olive oil industry and ranks as the second most prestigious worldwide, only behind the Mario Solinas competition organized annually by the International Olive Council. During the 2025 edition of EVO IOOC, hundreds of producers participated, showcasing their oils to a panel of international judges. The evaluation criteria were stringent, focusing on aspects such as aromatic balance, intensity, purity, and extraction technique.
The awards ceremony for this 10th edition is set to take place on July 12 in Rome, at the Acquario Romano, a venue known for hosting exhibitions and cultural events.
These accolades not only showcase the exceptional quality of Algerian olive oils but also contribute to the global recognition of Algeria’s agricultural heritage, emphasizing its role in producing high-quality food products for international markets.
