Boughali reçoit le président de la commission des Affaires intérieures et étrangères au Conseil de la Choura qatari
On Wednesday, Brahim Boughali, President of the National People’s Assembly (APN) of Algeria, welcomed Youcef Bin Ali Al Khater, the head of the Internal and Foreign Affairs Committee of Qatar’s Shura Council, who is on an official visit to Algeria until May 30. This meeting, held at the APN headquarters, served to highlight the strong and cordial relations between the two nations, with Boughali expressing the shared political commitment to further develop and strengthen their ties across various sectors.
Boughali emphasized the high level of coordination and collaboration between the parliaments of Algeria and Qatar. He pledged to activate the cooperation protocol between the two legislative bodies to enhance these relations. In addition, he commended Qatar’s efforts in supporting the Palestinian cause and called for intensified joint actions to halt the violence against the Palestinian people.
In turn, Youcef Bin Ali Al Khater expressed satisfaction with the historical connections between Algeria and Qatar. He stressed the importance of developing these relations further, especially in the economic sphere through mutual investments. He also praised Algeria’s courageous stance on global just causes, particularly concerning Palestine, and recognized the Algerian people as a symbol of resistance and perseverance.
This encounter was attended by Mohamed Khouane, President of the APN Committee on Foreign Affairs, Cooperation, and Community, underscoring the collaborative spirit present in the discussions. Overall, both leaders solicited greater cooperation efforts and recognized the potential in fostering stronger bilateral relationships.
