Baddari supervise le lancement de cinq nouvelles plateformes numériques
Launch of New Digital Platforms in Algerian Higher Education
On Tuesday, Algerian Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Kamel Baddari, presided over the inauguration of five new digital platforms aimed at modernizing the higher education sector. This initiative brings the total number of integrated platforms within the sector to 69.
In his speech, Minister Baddari highlighted that these platforms, developed by national expertise, are designed to streamline administrative and educational processes. They aim to enhance access to services offered by various universities, ensure transparency, and strengthen e-governance within higher education. The ultimate goal is to establish a "smart university" that prioritizes innovation and performance.
Baddari emphasized that these advancements place Algeria at the forefront of digitalization in the educational sector, driving a modernization process focused on improving university standards. Ahmed Belhani, president of the National Commission for Distance Learning, elaborated on the specific functions of each newly launched platform.
The first platform offers users access to all regulatory documents from the Ministry of Higher Education. The second platform focuses on the assessment of online courses, facilitating the shift to online learning by providing innovative evaluation techniques and tools. The third platform, called "Hadhina," aims to unify management tools for incubators, facilitating project tracking and enhancing collaboration between project holders and mentors, while providing precise real-time performance indicators.
The fourth platform, "Elhal," enhances access to scientific resources stored in Algerian universities via institutional repositories, thereby boosting the visibility of Algerian scientific research. Additionally, a new application called "my bus_controller" has been introduced to manage university transportation, complementing the existing "mybus" application.
These initiatives signify a significant step toward digital transformation in Algeria’s higher education system, fostering a more efficient, transparent, and collaborative environment for students and educators alike.
