Third, he pointed out the weakness of collective diplomacy, which has struggled to address the ongoing deterioration of security in Africa.
Attaf stressed the urgent need to revitalize the Africa-EU partnership for peace and security. He advocated for this cooperation framework to enhance diplomacy roles in resolving African crises and to support AU-led peacekeeping operations. He also called for greater investment in stability through development, recognizing it as the most effective means to achieve lasting peace in Africa and globally.
