Holding ACS signe des contrats d’exportation vers la Mauritanie
Summary of Recent Business Developments by Algeria Chemical Specialities (ACS)
Algeria Chemical Specialities (ACS) has recently made significant strides in expanding its market presence by securing three new commercial contracts with Mauritanian economic operators. This initiative focuses on exporting products across several key sectors, including plastic, medical supplies, and cardboard.
The contracts involve the export of over 55 million units from ACS subsidiaries, namely "DIPROCHIM," which specializes in plastic products; "SOCOTHYD," recognized for medical supplies; and "TONIC INDUSTRIE," known for corrugated cardboard. These agreements were formalized during the 7th edition of the Algerian Products Fair held in Nouakchott, Mauritania, from May 22 to 28. This event was organized by the Ministry of External Commerce and Promotion of Exports, highlighting the ongoing commitment to foster bilateral trade.
This latest series of contracts follows successful export operations to Mauritania that occurred at the end of 2024 and the beginning of 2025. ACS attributes these new collaborations to the positive feedback from Mauritanian partners regarding the quality of their products and the professionalism exhibited by their subsidiaries in commercial exchanges. This satisfaction has fostered a conducive environment for long-term relationships.
The signing ceremony for these contracts was organized by "Tasdir," a subsidiary of the Algerian Exhibitions and Exports Company (SAFEX). Notably, the event took place under the auspices of the Ministry of External Commerce and Promotion of Exports, with the attendance of Algeria’s ambassador to Mauritania, Mr. Amine Sid, and a representative from the Ministry of Industry. Approximately 200 Algerian companies from various sectors participated throughout the week-long fair, which serves as a showcase for Algerian products in the Mauritanian market.
In summary, these recent developments underscore ACS’s growing influence in regional trade and highlight the effective partnerships being forged to promote Algerian exports in key industries.
