grand élan de solidarité en faveur des démunis pendant le Ramadhan
Summary of the Activities of "Ness El Khir" Foundation in Constantine During Ramadan
The "Ness El Khir" foundation in Constantine exemplifies exemplary charitable actions and support for underprivileged social groups through the dedicated efforts of young volunteers. These volunteers, both male and female, have consistently mobilized since the onset of Ramadan, collaborating with other social and charitable organizations across various municipalities in the Wilayah.
Throughout the first two weeks of Ramadan, "Ness El Khir" has prominently demonstrated its commitment by organizing the "Maidat Errahma" initiative. This esteemed initiative takes place in a large restaurant located in El Mouzina, within the El Khroub municipality. As iftar approaches, the venue transforms into a vibrant gathering space for many disadvantaged individuals, passersby, university students, and even workers from nearby regions. Lamine Messai, the foundation’s representative, reported that over 3,700 hot meals have been served since the beginning of Ramadan. This includes more than 1,500 meals served at tables and an additional 1,200 meals provided for takeout.
Moreover, a group of young volunteers has extended their solidarity by offering support to patients and their companions in the hematology and pediatrics departments of the Dr. Benbadis University Hospital Center and the Mohamed Boudiaf Public Hospital, both situated in El Khroub. To date, they have distributed nearly 1,000 hot meals, averaging between 50 to 60 daily based on the foundation’s statistics.
The volunteers’ commitment to aiding those in need extends beyond organizing iftar. They have planned a collective circumcision operation for children from low-income families, coinciding with Leilat al-Qadr (the Night of Destiny), which falls on the 27th night of Ramadan. This initiative will particularly prioritize children in remote rural areas.
Additionally, the foundation plans to distribute 100 clothing outfits as part of the "Farhat El Aid" initiative during Aid El Fitr for orphaned children and those from impoverished families, as announced by Mr. Messai.
Established three years ago in Constantine, "Ness El Khir" has positioned itself as a beacon of professionalism in civil action. The foundation maintains a constant presence in the field throughout the year, participating in various social and religious events and collaborating with numerous partners to assist the most vulnerable social groups.
In summary, the "Ness El Khir" foundation plays a crucial role in promoting solidarity and compassion during Ramadan, effectively addressing the needs of disadvantaged individuals and demonstrating a strong commitment to social welfare through various initiatives and community support efforts.
