To operate these restaurants, associations obtained necessary permits from local multi-sectoral commissions, which are overseen by the regional directorates of social action and solidarity. The granting of these permits comes after a thorough inspection to ensure compliance with health and hygiene standards.
In addition to the Iftar restaurants, approximately 310,871 food parcels have been distributed to underprivileged families by various charities and benefactors. This distribution is coordinated with local social action authorities, reinforcing the spirit of solidarity that is deeply rooted in Algerian society. The collective efforts highlight communal assistance and the willingness to support those facing economic hardships.
Furthermore, nearly 1,300 families comprising female producers, artisans, and homemakers have participated in solidarity markets, organized in coordination with regional commerce and social action services.
