Hubert Niveleau, co-founder of the popular bars Piccolo and Vecchio in Paris, faces accusations of drugging a woman during a private party. Kim Chabaud claims she witnessed him adding a powdery substance to her drink. Although the prosecutor has not confirmed an investigation, Niveleau has stepped back from his business roles and strongly denies the allegations. Chabaud later experienced troubling symptoms and was hospitalized, where she was tested for possible drugging. Niveleau urges for presumption of innocence and calls for a proper investigation, while reports suggest other potential victims in his establishments.
