Le SG du RND salue les projets stratégiques structurants de l'économie nationale
SIDI BEL ABBES – Mustapha Yahi, the Secretary General of the National Democratic Rally (RND), addressed a popular gathering at the "Kateb Yacine" cultural center, where he expressed the party’s support for Algeria’s strategic economic projects that have been established in recent years. These initiatives aim to ensure food, water, and energy security for the nation. Yahi highlighted that these projects reflect the forward-looking vision of President Abdelmadjid Tebboune, which positions Algeria as an emerging country, independent from exploitation, coercion, and tensions, and strong in its decision-making.
In his speech, Yahi also condemned the hostile actions of the military junta in Mali against Algeria, emphasizing that Algeria’s stance has been recognized internationally in its fight against terrorism and its efforts to support the development of Sahel countries. He pointed out that Algeria’s firm and sincere voice on international platforms advocating for African interests has unsettled certain hostile lobbies and entities, particularly the Moroccan regime and the Zionist entity, who have manipulated the coup leaders against Algeria. These maneuvers, he noted, aim to undermine Algeria’s strategic economic collaborations with African nations.
Yahi addressed the escalating threats in the Sahel region, calling for enhanced coordination and joint efforts among Algeria and its neighbors, particularly Tunisia, Libya, and Mauritania. He advocated for intensified governmental, parliamentary, political, and media actions to reinforce security in the region. Additionally, Yahi reiterated his party’s condemnation of the American administration’s support for Morocco’s proposal for autonomy as the sole solution to the Western Sahara conflict. He described this stance as biased and in violation of international law and UN resolutions, which regard the Western Sahara issue as a decolonization matter.
Furthermore, Yahi denounced the ongoing atrocities faced by the Palestinian people due to violent actions by the Zionist entity, commending Algeria’s diplomatic efforts, led by President Tebboune, to advocate for the Palestinian cause and work towards ending the violence. He underlined the importance of pursuing justice for both the Western Sahara and Palestinian issues, positioning Algeria as a champion of decolonization and a protector of human rights on the global stage.
In essence, Mustapha Yahi reaffirmed the RND’s commitment to national development agendas while addressing critical regional and international political issues, highlighting Algeria’s diplomatic role and its stance on strategic partnerships and respect for international legality.
