l’ANCA salue le respect du programme de permanence par les professionnels

Summary of ANCA’s Praise for Business Participation During Aïd El-Fitr

On Tuesday, the National Association of Traders and Artisans (ANCA) expressed its appreciation for the significant participation of merchants and economic operators in the continuity program during the first two days of Aïd El-Fitr. This initiative ensured that essential services remained available through businesses included in the permanence lists created by the Ministry of Interior Commerce and National Market Regulation.

In its statement, ANCA highlighted the commitment of traders, especially those operating bakeries, grocery stores, fruit and vegetable vendors, meat suppliers, coffee shops, restaurants, and kiosks. Their active participation allowed citizens to obtain necessary goods easily during the holiday. The association emphasized that adherence to this permanence schedule indicates a heightened awareness among retailers regarding the importance of uninterrupted public service during holidays and celebrations.

Furthermore, ANCA commended the positive impact of the digital application "Mourafik Com," launched by the Ministry of Interior Commerce and Market Regulation. This tool enabled citizens to locate open businesses and assisted merchants in attracting new customers, facilitating the availability of goods and services during the Aïd.

In addition to the registered merchants, many traders who were not on the permanence lists chose to keep their stores open, especially those residing near their businesses. This exemplifies a sense of responsibility and solidarity among traders. The transportation sector also experienced a surge in activity, with taxi and bus services increasing their operations to assist citizens during the holiday period.

ANCA urged all merchants and economic operators to resume their normal activities promptly following the conclusion of Aïd festivities. On Monday, the Ministry of Interior Commerce and National Market Regulation reported that 54,148 traders adhered to the permanence program, while only 25 merchants failed to comply on the first day of Aïd El-Fitr. This level of compliance, as noted in the ministry’s statement, reflects broad adherence that guarantees the uninterrupted supply of essential products and services for the community.

Conclusion

Overall, the coordination among the commercial sector during Aïd El-Fitr, backed by supportive initiatives such as the "Mourafik Com" app, not only facilitated the citizens’ access to goods but also showcased the solidarity and responsibility of the trading community during a significant cultural celebration.
