Mouloudji partage un iftar collectif à Blida
Title: Blida’s Grand Collective Iftar: A Celebration of Solidarity
On Sunday, the wilaya of Blida hosted a grand collective Iftar that gathered hundreds of attendees, including Minister of National Solidarity, Family, and Women’s Conditions, Soraya Mouloudji, alongside local and security authorities. This charitable event was organized under the banner "The Largest Collective Iftar of the Victorious Algeria" by the National Charitable Association "Kafil El-Yatim," in collaboration with the Algerian Economic Renewal Council (CREA).
The Iftar aimed to unite various families and personalities in a warm, friendly atmosphere, reinforcing a sense of community during the holy month of Ramadan. Minister Mouloudji praised the initiative, stating it embodies and strengthens values of solidarity, cohesion, and national unity. She acknowledged the relentless efforts of civil society organizations, associations, and volunteers throughout Ramadan, who worked to provide meals, notably for those passing by.
During this special occasion, Mouloudji informed attendees that her ministry had supported numerous associations in opening "Rahma" restaurants during Ramadan. A total of 2,200 restaurants were launched, offering over 600,000 meals daily to those in need.
Ali Chaouati, president of the "Kafil El-Yatim" association, emphasized that the event’s mission—held annually during Ramadan—is to spread joy among orphans and enhance bonds of solidarity and mutual assistance. He expressed gratitude for the partnership forged with CREA under the auspices of the Ministry of National Solidarity and local leadership, showcasing the cooperation and mutual support prevailing among the Algerian people.
Djamel Guidoum, vice president of CREA, stressed that the role of citizen enterprises extends beyond merely investing in and fostering economic development. He asserted their commitment to enhancing and supporting social responsibility across sectors. This year’s Iftar in Blida continued the tradition of solidarity events previously held in Tizi Ouzou and M’sila, indicating CREA’s dedication to revive such initiatives whenever the opportunity arises.
Held at the Chahid "Hammoud Daidi" Stadium in the heart of Blida, the event was marked by a celebratory atmosphere. Prior to Iftar, a ceremonial recognition took place honoring orphans who excelled academically. Additionally, a draw was conducted for the "Omra," enabling 10 widows from different wilayas to benefit from this spiritual journey.
Furthermore, the event saw the distribution of clothing for Eid to 3,500 orphans, with plans for additional aid set for the southern regions of the country.
The collective Iftar in Blida not only reflected the spirit of Ramadan but also illustrated the power of community and cooperation in addressing social needs. The involvement of various stakeholders—from government officials to local organizations—underscores the collective commitment to helping the less fortunate.
As Algeria continues fostering such initiatives, the hope remains to strengthen bonds, elevate spirits, and ensure that those most vulnerable experience the joy and warmth of the holy month, reinforcing the core values of solidarity and unity in society.
